LONDON (Alliance News) - British Smaller Companies VCT2 PLC on Thursday reported an increase in total return of 4.2% to 110.9 pence per ordinary share in 2015 from 106.4p in 2014.
The venture capital trust reported an increase in net asset value of 4.5 pence per ordinary share prior to the payment of dividends, representing a 7.2% increase on the opening net asset value.
The company said it saw underlying growth of 12.6% in its investment portfolio.
It paid total dividends in the year of 4.5 pence per share, equal to the amount paid in 2014.
The company proposed a final dividend of 2.5 pence per share for 2015.
Shares in British Smaller Companies VCT2 were up 6.7% at 59.76p on Thursday.
