LONDON (Alliance News) - British Smaller Companies VCT PLC on Friday reported an increase in total return of 6.5 pence per ordinary share to 204.0 pence per ordinary share in the first half of its financial year.
The company's net asset value per share increased to 105.3p per share in the six months ended September 30, prior to the payment of 7.0p of dividends during the half.
The underlying growth in the overall investment portfolio was GBP5.6 million, the company said, including GBP2.6 million of unrealised value growth and GBP3.0 million of gain over the opening value from disposals.
Shares in the company were untraded at 87.00p on Friday.
