British Land Starts Work At 4 Kingdom Street In Paddington

13th Feb 2015 07:28

LONDON (Alliance News) - British Land Co PLC on Friday said it has started development work on the 4 Kingdom Street site near Paddington Station in London.

The FTSE 100-listed property group acquired the site in 2013 and said the core of the nine-storey building has been relocated in order to increase space and efficiency in the building.

British Land expects practical completion of the scheme to occur in early 2017.

"We are excited to be starting our development plans at Paddington Central, and are pleased with the enhanced design of 4 Kingdom Street. The campus already attracts high calibre occupiers from a broad range of industry sectors, and is increasingly seen as a natural extension of London's West End office market," said British Land Head of Office Development Robert Samuel.
