LONDON (Alliance News) - British American Tobacco PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a vapour collaboration deal with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co, a subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc, the US tobacco company.
The agreement will provide a framework for collaborating and mutual cross-licensing of vapour product technologies produced by both companies through to the end of 2022.
"This is an important milestone for BAT. This agreement should provide a strong platform to meet the demands of consumers today and in the future," said Kingsley Wheaton, the managing director of next generation products at BAT.
Shares in British American Tobacco were down 0.2% to 3,862.00 pence.
