(Alliance News) - Cigarettes and nicotine products maker British American Tobacco PLC on Tuesday said it has increased the maximum tender amount for the tender offers announced in September.
The offerors increased the maximum combined aggregate purchase price in all tender offers by either EUR100.0 million for the euro notes and USD100.0 million for the US dollar notes, respectively.
The offers are being made by subsidiaries BAT Capital Corp, BAT International Finance PLC, and Reynolds American Inc.
British American Tobacco shares were down 0.8% at 2,773.00 pence each in London, and down 1.3% to ZAR590.95 each in Johannesburg, on Tuesday afternoon.
