(Alliance News) - Leaders of the pilots' union have met with British Airways management in a bid to avert a strike over pay.
The two sides met on Thursday under the chairmanship of the conciliation service Acas.
An Acas spokesman said: "Acas talks have concluded for now."
Members of the British Airline Pilots Association have voted in favour of industrial action.
Union leaders have held back from naming strike dates while talks continue.
The union would have to give 14 days notice of any industrial action.
British Airways is part of International Consolidated Airlines Group SA.
