(Alliance News) - Harvest Minerals Ltd's handling and storage facility in Brazil has received government approval, the company said on Thursday.
The "big bag" facility is located on Harvest's Arapua project, where it produces KPFertil, a remineraliser.
This facility, Harvest said, will allow it to market and sell KPFertil in one tonne bags, on top of existing bulk sales.
Executive Chair Brian McMaster said: "The focus this year has been on sales and marketing, continuing to improve our facilities and increase our efficiency in order to better serve our customers as we build a sustainable business.
"We were delighted to receive the necessary Ministerio da Agricultura approval to advance our one-tonne big bag marketing and distribution initiatives as the ability to distribute KPFertil in one-tonne big bags will help us to service a broader range of clients, as well as assist in marketing KPFertil to new customers."
Harvest shares were 4.0% higher on Thursday at a price of 4.84 pence each.
