(Alliance News) - Brave Bison Group PLC on Thursday announced the abrupt departure of Chief Executive Officer Kate Burns, saying Non-Executive Chair Oliver will take over CEO responsibilities as executive chair.
Shares in the London-based multi-platform video network operator were down 12% at 1.25 pence each on Thursday afternoon.
Burns, who was promoted to CEO role in April 2019, agreed to step down following "discussions with the board", the company said, adding that the management changes are with immediate effect. She initially had joined Brave Bison as a non-executive director in July 2018.
Burns said: "I would like to thank my colleagues for their commitment, incredible work, and loyalty during my time as a non-executive director and CEO at Brave Bison, particularly during the recent challenges presented by Covid-19. I wish the business every success in its next chapter."
Chair Green said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Kate for her hard work, personal commitment and dedication to Brave Bison."
Green, together with Tangent Marketing Services Ltd, owns 27% stake in Brave Bison. Green is the managing director and a significant shareholder of digital marketing agency Tangent.
