LONDON (Alliance News) - Braemar Shipping Services PLC on Monday said it appointed Ronald Series as non-executive chair with immediate effect.
Braemar shares were trading up 1.9% at 165.00 pence each on Monday morning.
Series replaces David Moorhouse who retired from the board on Sunday.
He has a "strong track record of leading businesses" in a variety of sectors and significant experience with international companies, the company said.
Currently, Series serves as executive chair of deliveries and logistics company DX Group and until recently was senior independent director of Clipper Logistics PLC. He has previously held senior management positions at platinum producer Lonmin PLC, energy firm Viridian Group Ltd and investment firm Dubai World.
