LONDON (Alliance News) - Trading, risk management and settlement services provider Brady PLC on Wednesday said it has secured an order from Russian steel company Evraz PLC to provide its Raw Material Management System for Evraz's Pueblo steel plant in Colorado.
The platform will help London-listed Evraz to optimise its purchasing processes, Brady said, improving the visibility of its raw materials supply chain.
No financial details on the contract were disclosed.
"With operational efficiency and cost savings at the fore for many of our customers, EVRAZ will be able to fully benefit from using the system's web-based application to manage its suppliers, optimise its raw material purchasing using our dynamic buy plan tools and align its forecasting and scrap planning needs, resulting in the achievement of increases in both efficiency and cost savings," said Brady Chief Executive Gavin Lavelle.
Brady shares were down 0.8% to 60.00 pence Wednesday.
