LONDON (Alliance News) - Brady PLC Wednesday said it has won a new contract with a German energy company to manage its power scheduling activities in the UK.
Brady, which provides risk management and trading software for metals, recycling, energy and soft commodities, said its Power Scheduling product was chosen by MVV Trading GmbH, a subsidiary of MVV Energie Group, which provides customers with a reliable source of electricity, district heating, gas and water, as well as offering a wide range of green electricity and biogas products.
Brady said MVV will use its Power Scheduling product to handle its scheduling requirements in the UK market, as part of its energy expansion campaign in the UK. MVV is building a biomass power plant in southeast London, following the work that has already begun building an energy from waste plant in the southwest of England.
Brady shares were Wednesday quoted at 62.0 pence, down 0.25 pence.
