Brady Names Ian Jenks As Non-Executive Chairman To Replace Fullagar

6th Jun 2016 11:29

LONDON (Alliance News) - Brady PLC, the AIM-listed provider of software to the commodity and energy markets, on Monday named Ian Jenks as non-executive chairman with immediate effect, following Paul Fullagar's decision to retire from the role.

Fullagar, who thanked shareholders for their support over the last nine years, said he was "very happy" to hand over the chairmanship to Jenks.

"He has fantastic experience building technology companies and I'm sure under his tenure Brady will enjoy even further growth," Fullagar said of his successor.

According to Brady, Jenks has "significant experience" of working with software companies. He is currently the chairman of Birdtsep Technologies ASA and senior independent director of Paysafe Group PLC.

Jenks was the director and interim chief executive officer of Intune Networks and subsidiary companies from 2008 to 2013. Intune Networks was put into trading receivership in December 2013 by its shareholders. "There are no outstanding issues relating to the receivership," Bradys said in a statement.

Shares in Brady were down 1.4% at 65.60 pence Monday.
