LONDON (Alliance News) - Boxhill Technologies PLC, which has changed its name from The Weather Lottery, Monday said that its subsidiary Pay Corporation Ltd had signed a contract with Bright Office Limited, a software and services company.
The company said that it had signed up two new clients since acquiring Pay Corporation in September, but that it was too early to give an assessment of revenues from these contracts. Progress had continued with the revamping of its lottery business, the company said, and it had developed a number of new customers.
The UK government announced the establishment of a new utilities-style regulator for the payments sector, and the company said that it believes it will offer significant opportunities for business like Pay Corporation.
The company expects to provide another trading update in November for the first quarter of the financial year to July 31 2014.
Shares in the company were trading down 20% at 0.120 pence Monday morning.
