Boxhill Technologies Launches Payment Software On E-Commerce Site

14th Jul 2014 08:10

LONDON (Alliance News) - Boxhill Technologies PLC said Monday that James Rose will take up the role of chief operating office following the departure of Kevin Dale, and announced that it had launched its payment software on e-commerce site ekmpowershop.com.

ekmpowershop.com is available to over 12,000 merchants, Boxhill said. Boxhill's platform will allow the site's customers to process Visa and MasterCard transactions.

Boxhill said that it had continued to make progress in developing its payment technology services.

It has received a conversion notice for GBP206,250 of a GBP250,000 loan provided by a syndicate of individuals, which will lead to the issue of 125 million new shares at an issue price of 0.165 pence per share. GBP43,750 of the loan is still outstanding.

It is issuing 120 million new shares at 0.145 pence in lieu of fees for software licences, consulting and other services from Vitek Ltd. Additionally, it is issuing 42.7 million new shares to Lausi Trading Ltd to settle legal and professional fees.

Dale has opted to step down to pursue other business interest. His successor Rose is currently managing director of Boxhill's lottery management subsidiary.

Shares in Boxhill were trading up 13% at 0.130 pence Monday morning, the biggest gainer on AIM.
