LONDON (Alliance News) - Wholesale retailer Booker Group PLC on Thursday said its group operations director, Bryn Satherley, will step down from the board and retire from the company on April 1, 2016.
Rather than directly replacing him, Booker will appoint Guy Farrant, currently managing director of Booker Wholesale, as its chief operating officer after Satherley's departure, with his responsibilities to be split among the other members of its executive team.
Booker also appointed as a non-executive director Gary Hughes, a director at Premier Farnell PLC, the UK-listed technology company, and former chief financial officer of Gala Coral Group Ltd, the bookmaker.
