LONDON (Alliance News) - Online fashion retailer Boohoo.com PLC on Monday said it has appointed Sara Murray to its board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Murray is a serial entrepreneur best known for creating Inspop Ltd, the owner of price comparison website Confused.com, which she sold to blue-chip insurer Admiral Group PLC in 2002.
She also founded Buddi Ltd, a remote health and location monitoring technology business, and is an adviser to Travis Perkins PLC, the builders' merchant.
Shares in Boohoo were up 4.7% to 50.25 pence.
