LONDON (Alliance News) - Bonhill Group PLC said the business is progressing "extremely well", and trading is in line with the board's expectations, as it held its annual general meeting on Tuesday.
Furthermore, the B2B media business said that its recently acquired business, InvestmentNews, has started to integrate. InvestmentNews is aimed at the financial adviser and wealth manager community in the US.
InvestmentNews is premiering its first documentary, called "Making an Impact" at the United Nations on Tuesday.
"The project illustrates InvestmentNews' focus on expanding its storytelling capabilities through multimedia and diverse channels, along with its commitment to educating, informing and advancing its own community of financial advisers," Bonhill said.
Meanwhile, Bonhill said its UK business also has been a "major contributor of revenue", particularly Live Events, attracting over 2,000 people and reaching 10.6 million people on social media.
Bonhill added: "We will continue to develop our Live Events portfolio, expand its geographical footprint, connect our audiences internationally and harness the power of Bonhill's communities to create value for our shareholders.
"In order to achieve this, we need a strong and efficient technology platform and investment in this area has already started."
In order to achieve this growth, Bonhill said it has continued to look for "strategic and earnings enhancing acquisition opportunities".
Shares in the company were trading 3.1% higher at 83.51 pence each.
The company will publish its interim results in November.
