LONDON (Alliance News) - BMR Mining PLC said it filed its final report with the Zambia Environmental Management Agency in relation to an environmental social impact assessment for its tailings re-treatment process and construction of its planned pilot and main treatment plants in Kabwe.
The Zambian-focused mineral processing business said that during the approval process it will continue design work, and identifying equipment suppliers in preparation for the start of construction.
"We are delighted to have reached this milestone in the development of BMR under the new management team with the submission of the Final Report for the operating plants at Kabwe, which represents a further stage in the delivery of our strategy for shareholders," said Chairman Alex Borrelli in a statement.
Shares in BMR were down 4.0% at 4.01 pence Friday morning.
