LONDON (Alliance News) - Zambia-focused minerals processor BMR Group PLC on Tuesday said the environment project brief covering the sale of Waelz kiln slag from its Kabwe site has been submitted.
BMR is seeking to sell WKS as a construction aggregate and said final approval from the Zambia Environmental Management Agency would allow the group to realise significant value from the project.
"We are pleased to report this further milestone in the development of BMR under the new management team with the submission of the Waelz Kiln EPB. The sale of WKS as a construction aggregate will add a potentially valuable revenue stream for BMR," said Chairman Alex Borrelli.
BMR shares were up 4.0% to 4.42 pence Tuesday.
