LONDON (Alliance News) - Blur Group PLC Wednesday said project bookings for the first half of 2014 increased to USD16.0 million from USD5.2 million a year earlier, as its e-commerce platform for business services was adopted by a number of companies including Amazon.com Inc.
The technology said all its customers join nearly 50,000 businesses buyers and sellers operating on its Global Services Exchange.
Global Services Exchange is a cloud-based platform where buyers can submit briefs for a range of professional and business services.
"Launching version 4.0 of Blur group's s-commerce platform was integral to enterprise customers adopting the Exchange," Chief Executive Philip Letts said in a statement. "We were particularly pleased to see additional projects from companies including Amazon, Sabre and Canadian Cancer in this period, reinforcing our focus on customer experience and retention."
Blur Group shares were quoted flat at 78.00 pence Wednesday morning.
