LONDON (Alliance News) - Blur Group PLC said Tuesday that it had continued to secure new customers as it moves towards the end of 2014, citing retailers Argos, part of Home Retail Group PLC and Tesco PLC as the latest companies to launch services projects using its blur 4.0 platform.
Blur operates a cloud-based platform where buyers can submit briefs for a range of professional and business services called the Global Services Exchange.
The company said that an undisclosed products innovation company has also launched two new development projects worth over USD500,000 on the exchange. Additionally, Blur had added a new partner with ticketing and event marketplace Eventbrite.
"New customers, new large value projects and new partners all confirm that buying services online leads to doing business better," said Chief Financial Officer Stephen Harvey in a statement.
Shares in Blur are trading up 7.5% at 72.00 pence Tuesday morning.
