LONDON (Alliance News) - blur Group PLC Wednesday appointed and extended the roles of several of its senior management as its Chief Financial Officer James Davis, resigned from the company.
Davis was unable to relocate to blur's global headquarters due to family reasons, and stepped down from the role.
Davis' role will be handed over to Mitch Faigen, who has been appointed chief strategy and finance officer, and Barbara Spurrier, blur's director of financial reporting. Spurrier takes on the responsibility for external financial reporting, as well as acting as Chairman of its revenue recognition board subcommittee, which reports to the Audit committee.
Faigen joined blur at the end of 2012, after serving as Chief Financial Officer at SDI Media Group.
James Porter, currently group financial controller, will manage all internal finance functions, said the firm.
Head of PR Lucy Davies will take on the additional roles of financial PR and investor relations support. Michelle Cameron has been appointed as head of project delivery and payments. Finally, Stuart Chun has been appointed as senior analyst of strategy and business intelligence. Chun previously worked at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, United Healthcare Group and Edwards Lifesciences.
Shares in blur were trading down 8.9% at 471.50 pence Wednesday afternoon.
