BlueRock Diamonds Says Kareevlei Plant Still Operating Below Capacity

16th Dec 2015 13:31

LONDON (Alliance News) - BlueRock Diamonds PLC on Wednesday said production levels at its Kareevlei diamond mine in South Africa remain below capacity, as the mine closes down for three weeks over Christmas.

The company said production levels at Kareevlei are still below capacity as the group continues to bed in the plant and deals with the challenges arising from the ramp up in the volume of work being done at the project.

It expects plant throughput to increase in the next two or three months as it continues the bedding-in process, BlueRock added.

Shares in BlueRock were untraded Wednesday, having last traded at 20.40 pence.
