LONDON (Alliance News) - BlueRock Diamonds PLC on Monday said it has appointed Adam Waugh as its new chief executive.
Waugh will be responsible for overseeing the strategic review of the South Africa-focused company and the subsequent implementation of its plans, BlueRock said.
At the end of March, BlueRock launched a strategic review as it tries to resolve ongoing issues with recovery levels and throughput rates at its two processing plants, warning it will need to raise further funds in the near-term.
Riaan Visser will become the chief executive of Kareevlei Mining Pty Ltd, BlueRock's sole operating subsidiary, giving him responsibility for the company's Kareevlei mine in South Africa.
BlueRock shares were untraded on Monday, having last traded at 16.00 pence.
