(Alliance News) - Bluejay Mining PLC said Tuesday it promoted Bo Moller Stensgaard as executive director of the Greenland and Finland-focused mining firm with immediate effect.
Stensgaard has "extensive" operational experience in Greenland and joined Bluejay as a non-board general manager in September 2018. He also serves on the board as executive director of Bluejay subsidiaries Dundas Titanium AS and Disko Exploration Ltd.
"We believe Bo's considerable in-country experience of more than 20 years, paired with his excellent and detailed knowledge of the Dundas Project, will add further expertise to the board of directors," Bluejay Chief Executive Officer Roderick McIllree said.
"Since joining the company in 2018 in his position as general manager, Bo has been working closely with the board advising on operational performance and other development initiatives, and as such this appointment feels like an extremely natural progression for Bluejay", McIllree added.
Shares in Bluejay were 2.3% higher at 6.57 pence in London on Tuesday.
