(Alliance News) - Bluejay Mining PLC on Wednesday said that the Environmental Agency for Mineral Resource Activities of Greenland has confirmed that the company's environmental impact assessment for Dundas ilmenite project is compliant with guidelines for the purposes of public consultation.
"The EIA, together with the shortly expected social impact assessment, will enable the company to move into the fixed period public consultation and subsequent preparation of the White Book required for final ministerial approval for exploitation," the Greenland and Finland-focused miner said.
The main conclusion from the Dundas environmental impact assessment is that there are no material or unmanageable environmental impacts arising from the development of the project, Bluejay noted.
Bluejay shares in London were trading 4.9% higher at 8.53 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon. In Frankfurt, shares were up 2.9% at EUR0.09 each.
