Bluejay Mining Accidentally Releases Discussions With Rio Tinto

27th Feb 2019 10:12

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in Bluejay Mining PLC fell Wednesday as it said it accidentally released information regarding talks with a Rio Tinto PLC subsidiary.

Shares were down 7.2% at a price of 13.09 pence each Wednesday morning.

Due to an "unfortunate technical issue" experienced while maintaining its website, Bluejay said it accidentally released the fact it is in talks with Rio Tinto Iron & Titanium Canada Inc over an agreement to assess the potential of Bluejay's Dundas ilmenite project in Greenland.

Bluejay is "optimistic" talks will be concluded in due course, though nothing has been finalised.
