Bluefield Solar On Track For Dividend Target, Buys Three Solar Plants

LONDON (Alliance News) - Solar asset investor Bluefield Solar Income Fund Ltd said Thursday it will pay a 1.80 pence second interim dividend as well as the acquisition of three solar plants.

The second payout is flat on the first, and Bluefield's target for its year ending June is for a total payout of 7.43p.

The company has bought three sub-5 megawatt peak ground-mounted solar photovoltaic plants in Dorset for GBP19.9 million, funded from its existing credit facility.

Chairman John Rennocks said: "I am pleased to announce the company's second interim dividend and that we remain on target for a full year dividend of 7.43 pence per share."

Shares were up 0.3% on Thursday at 116.36p each.
