LONDON (Alliance News) - Blue Star Capital PLC on Monday said it has made an investment in early-stage identity and payments technology company Sthaler Ltd.

Blue Star has invested GBP50,000 to acquire a 1.45% stake in Sthaler as part of a GBP450,000 fundraising round for the company. Under the terms of the deal, Blue Star will have the right to invest up to GBP300,000 in Sthaler.

"We are excited by Sthaler and believe it has the potential to play an important part in the payments world. We look forward to working with Sthaler's management to maximise its potential," said Graham Parr, Blue Star's chairman.
