Blue Prism Expects Full Year Revenue Forecast Beat After Strong Start

16th May 2018 12:32

LONDON (Alliance News) - Robotics automation software firm Blue Prism Group PLC said Wednesday it expects full-year revenue to be "comfortably ahead" of market expectations and profit in line after a good first half.

For the six months ended April, Blue Prism said it had experienced "strong" sales momentum driven by customer wins and upsells with its existing customers. A total of 559 software deals were secured during the period. Of these, 223 deals were with new customers, 298 were upsells with existing customers and 38 were renewals.

As a result - for the full year ending October - Blue Prism expects revenue to be "comfortably ahead" of the GBP47.5 million market consensus. Adjusted loss before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, however, was expected to be in "broadly in line" with the GBP18.9 million forecast by analysts.

For the year ended October 2017, Blue Prism generated an adjusted Ebitda loss of GBP8.3 million on revenue of GBP24.5 million. Pretax loss stood at GBP9.6 million.

Shares in Blue Prism were 3.1% higher at 1,606.40 pence on Wednesday.
