LONDON (Alliance News) - Blue Planet Investment Trust PLC said on Tuesday it has appointed Russell Firth as non-executive chair with immediate effect.
He will be replacing John Tyce, who will retire from the role after 14 years since 2005.
Frith will be joining from government agency Social Security Scotland where he was chair of the Audit & Assurance Committee for a year since 2018. Prior to that he was assistant auditor general for another government agency Audit Scotland for 17 years from 2000 to 2017.
Shares in Blue Planet were down 2.1% at 37.20 pence on Tuesday.
