(Alliance News) - Georgia-focused oil and gas exploration company Block Energy PLC on Wednesday said it will change its accounting reference date to December 31 from June 30.
It said this was in order to bring its financial reporting in line with peer companies and to carry out its year-end work when there is a seasonal reduction in operational activities.
The company now will release a second set of interim results for the 12-month period ending June 30 by September 30 and the final results for 18-month period ending December 31 by April 30, 2020.
Shares in Block Energy were trading 0.7% lower at 10.68 pence each in London.
