(Alliance News) - Georgia-focused oil & gas company Block Energy PLC said Tuesday it has promoted Finance Manager William McAvock to chief financial officer.
McAvock has been part of Block Energy since May, and prior to that was part of Iraq-focused oil & gas firm Gulf Keystone Petroleum PLC for two years since 2017, leaving as financial consultant.
"We are delighted William is joining the board to lead our finance team at this critical and exciting time for the company. He brings considerable experience to support Block through the next phases of its development," said Chair Philip Dimmock.
Shares in Block Energy were down 4.0% at 7.16 pence on Tuesday.
