LONDON (Alliance News) - Internet media company Blinkx PLC Tuesday said it has partnered with the Ladies Professional Golf Association to offer Blinkx users professional golf highlights, player interviews and tips.
Blinkx said it will place contextually relevant advertising against the videos and share the revenue with its new partner the Ladies Professional Golf Association, a non-profit women's professional sports association.
"Professional sports clips, from highlights to player interviews, are always in extremely high demand on blinkx," said Blinkx Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Dan Slivjanovski.
"This extensive partnership... allows us to offer our sports fans high-quality, professional golf clips straight from the course," he added.
Blinkx shares were up 2.8% Tuesday morning, trading at 35.19 pence.
