LONDON (Alliance News) - Blinkx PLC said Wednesday that it had launched new channels, called Branded Content Hubs, on its website which will show long and short videos from "respected networks, professional sports, studios and more."
Advertising will be placed against videos on these channels to produce revenue for Blinkx and its content partners.
The company's first content hub is being established with video gaming entertainment company IGN Entertainment Inc, and will feature channels including 'IGN Daily Fix,' 'IGN News' and 'IGN Conversations.'
Shares in Blinkx were trading up 1.9% at 97.30 pence Wednesday.
