LONDON (Alliance News) - Blinkx PLC said Tuesday it has partnered with GrindMedia to offer users access to new extreme sports channels from TransWorld, publisher of the world's largest and longest running skateboarding and snowboarding magazines.
Blinkx, an internet media platform that uses CORE video technology, said it will place "contextually relevant advertising against these videos" and will share resulting revenue with GrindMedia, an action/adventure sports media company.
Through the deal, the TransWorld channels will offer Blinkx viewers high-quality, professionally produced clips capturing videos from the worlds of skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX, Motocross and more.
Shares in Blinkx were trading 3.34% lower Tuesday morning at 79.50 pence per share.
