LONDON (Alliance News) - Blackrock North American Income Trust PLC Wednesday said its net asset value declined in the month to September 30, primarily because of its choice of securities in the industrials sector.
Blackrock North American Income Trust said its NAV decreased 2.4% over the month, while its shares declined by 3.1%.
Its benchmark, the Russell 1000 Value Index, saw a smaller decline of 2.1%.
The trust said the largest detractor from relative returns for the month was its choice of securities in the industrials sector.
The trust's shares were Wednesday morning quoted at 99.50 pence, down 1.5%.
