(Alliance News) - Sophos Group PLC on Wednesday said investment manager BlackRock Inc has acquired a 5.1% stake in the cybersecurity software firm.
Prior to this transaction, which was completed on Friday last week, BlackRock's holding, is any, was note disclosed.
On Monday last week, Sophos agreed to a GBP3 billion, or USD7.40 per share, takeover offer from US-based private equity firm Thoma Bravo LLC.
Sophos shares were trading 0.7% higher in London on Wednesday at 566.60 pence each.
