LONDON (Alliance News) - Biome Technologies PLC said Wednesday it has accepted a cash payment from unnamed third parties to release licensing rights over its legacy technology.
Biome said it will receive a payment of GBP450,000 for the release of royalty agreements over the use of technologies from its legacy Aquasol business. Biome noted the patents associated with the technology are no longer in force.
The funds from the settlement will be used for normal business purposes, said Biome.
Shares in Biome Technologies were untraded Wednesday, having last traded at 101.25 pence.
