LONDON (Alliance News) - Biome Technologies PLC said Friday it expects to meet forecasts for its full year results as it saw solid progress in its Bioplastics Division in the year ended December 31, 2013, but noted that its Stanelco RF Technologies business saw a subdued end to the year.
The company said progress in its Bioplastics Division continued as it launched new products in the US market and began customer trials for its high-temperature material for food services.
Biome said that its Stanelco RF Technologies business had seen a subdued end to the year due to turbulence in the Chinese fibre optic market, but said that Stanelco's order book for 2014 had begun to build in an encouraging manner.
Shares in the bioplastics and technology company were trading down 7.5% at 157.20 pence Friday morning.
