LONDON (Alliance News) - Gas and electricity services firm Bilby PLC said Friday it has hired former Anpario PLC chief David Bullen as its new boss from mid April.
Bullen will replace current Chief Executive Officer David Ellingham on April 15. Ellingham is leaving the firm to "pursue other career opportunities" after having served as CEO since September, following a stint as finance chief since 2014.
Bullen served as CEO of animal feed firm Anpario between 2011 and 2016, having previous served in senior roles at Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis International AG. He is currently working at Boleyn International Ltd, a strategic consultancy he founded in 2016.

"He brings with him significant experience of managing a listed company and an impressive track record of delivering growth and margin enhancement. We believe he is an excellent fit for Bilby and we look forward to working with him, restoring stakeholder confidence in Bilby and strengthening its market position."
Shares in Bilby were 2.1% lower at 25.70 pence on Friday.
