Biffa Appoints Non-Executive Director Ken Lever As Board Chairman

LONDON (Alliance News) - Biffa PLC said Monday that it has appointed current Non-Executive Director Ken Lever as chairman with immediate effect.

The waste management company also said that Interim Chairman David Martin will revert to his previous role as senior independent director. Martin was appointed interim chairman in September 2017 following the sudden death of Steve Marshall

Lever is currently chairman of RPS Group PLC, senior independent director of Vertu Motors PLC and non-executive director of Blue Prism Group PLC.

Biffa has commenced a search for a new non-executive director.

Shares in the company were down 0.3% at 209.45 pence in morning trade.
