BHP Billiton Appoints Tony Cudman As President Of Corporate Affairs

LONDON (Alliance News) - BHP Billiton PLC Wednesday said it has appointed Tony Cudmore from Exxon Mobil Corp as its President of Corporate Affairs.

The resources company said Cudmore will join the group's management committee and start his role in March, based at company headquarters in Australia.

BHP Billiton said that Cudmore has worked at Exxon Mobil since 2001 and recently led International Corporate Brand Communications and Asia Pacific Government Relations for the company.

Cudmore will take over from Karen Wood, who has been the acting head of Corporate Affairs since mid-2013 and led the search for the new function head. Wood will continue to work at BHP Billiton.

BHP Billiton shares were down 0.7% to 1,770.00 pence Wednesday.
