LONDON (Alliance News) - Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd said Monday its manufacturing facility in Tongi, Bangladesh, has passed a US Food and Drug Administration audit.
The generic pharmaceutical and active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturer said that it was audited by the FDA without any note of non-compliance or deviation from good manufacturing practices.
The audit took place between the 19 and 22 of January.
"The US FDA is a globally regarded regulatory authority, known for its stringent regulatory standards. We are pleased with the US FDA inspection of our manufacturing facility in Tongi, and we would like to thank our employees for their hard work in achieving this milestone," said Managing Director Nazmul Hassan in a statement.
Shares in Beximco are trading down 1.4% at 18.00 pence Monday morning.
