(Alliance News) - Online competitions organiser Best of the Best PLC on Wednesday reported that trading for the six months ended October 31 has remained strong since September.
The London-based company, which runs weekly competitions to win cars and other prizes, has seen early signs that the second half of its financial year ending April 2021 will be strong, with revenue and profit expected to be ahead of management expectations. It will announce the release date for its interim results shortly.
Best of the Best commenced a formal sales process back in June and had appointed Oakvale Capital LLP and finnCap Ltd as advisers in relation to the sales process. As of October, Best of the Best is continuing discussions with interested parties from a number of sector verticals despite the constraints of Covid-19 but wishes to reiterate that there is no certainty of a forthcoming offer and will keep shareholders updated in due course.
Shares in Best of the Best were down 4.9% at 1,331.00 pence in London on Wednesday.
