Berkeley Resources Says Progress Being Made At Salamanca Project

14th Jul 2015 08:49

LONDON (Alliance News) - Berkeley Resources Ltd on Tuesday said the infill drilling programme at the Zona 7 deposit in Salamanca in Spain is now well advanced, with results set to be published in August.

The company said that given the positive effect Zona 7 is expected to have on the overall economics of the Salamanca project, it has decided to push on with the preparation of the main documents required to start the permitting of the prospect, which will be submitted in the fourth quarter of 2015.

The mining licence and environmental licence for the project have already been granted, and the remaining applications have been lodged with the relevant authorities, the company said.

Shares in Berkeley were untraded Tuesday at 16.00 pence per share.
