LONDON (Alliance News) - Berkeley Resources Ltd Monday said thick, high-grade mineralisation has been intersected at Zona 7, the largest of the Retortillo Satellite Deposits and part of the company's Salamanca project in Spain.
Berkeley Resources said high-grade mineralisation was intersected at shallow depths, with thickness of up to 25 metres.
The company said the initial results from the drilling programme at Zona 7 confirm the presence of mineralisation outside the current resource boundary and indicate the potential for the Salamanca project.
Berkeley Resources shares were trading 5.9% higher at 18 pence per share on Monday.
