LONDON (Alliance News) - Berkeley Resources Ltd Tuesday moved a step closer to getting a mining license for its Retortillo site in Spain after it was granted its environmental license.
The uranium exploration and development company with operations in Spain said that following the Regional Government of Castilla and Leon's decision, the company is only awaiting approval of its exploitation and reclamation and closure plan before being granted its mining license at the site.
The Retortillo site forms part of the company's flagship Salamanca Project, where production is scheduled to commence shortly.
Berkeley Resources Limited shares were up 13.2% to 15.00 pence Tuesday.
