LONDON (Alliance News) - Berkeley Mineral Resources PLC Thursday said it has appointed Alex Borrelli as chairman following Masoud Alikhani's resignation last week.
Borrelli, aged 58, is a chartered accountant with 20 years experience in investment banking with Shore Capital, Granville and CCF Laurence Prust. Most recently, Borrelli was chairman of Ablon Group Ltd, a real estate group with a EUR400 million portfolio in central Europe, said Berkeley Mineral Resources in a statement.
Borrelli is a non-executive director of a number of listed and unquoted companies including Metal Tiger PLC and Prego International Ltd.
Berkeley shares were trading up 6.7% to 1.20 pence per share Thursday morning.
