LONDON (Alliance News) - Berkeley Energia Ltd on Monday announced the appointment of former TBC Bank PLC executive Sean Wade as its new chief commercial officer.
Wade was the director of international media & investor relations at Georgian bank TBC, playing a part in its listing on the London Stock Exchange.
Before that, he had a similar role at Asia Resource Minerals and also spent 20 years in capital markets, mostly at Cazenove & Co.
Managing Director Paul Atherley said: "I am delighted to welcome Sean to Berkeley Energia. His broad experience in communications, branding and capital markets will be a vital addition to the team as we complete detailed reviews at the Salamanca mine to ensure that optimal capital and operating costs are achieved prior to full construction commencing.
"He joins at a crucial point in our journey and we look forward to the contribution that I am confident he will make."
Shares in the uranium miner were down 1.0% on Monday at a price of 45.87 pence each.
